NIH StrokeNet is a nationwide clinical trials infrastructure established in 2013 by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Its purpose is to streamline and coordinate stroke research across the United States, focusing on prevention, treatment, and recovery from stroke. The StrokeNet Research Scholar Program was established by the NIH StrokeNet Training Core. The primary goals of the StrokeNet Research Scholar Program are (1) to train and mentor future leaders in stroke research, (2) to provide structured mentored research experiences within a national clinical trials infrastructure, and (3) to foster cross-institutional collaboration and peer-to-peer learning.
